Nice bell :TUP2: I sure wish I could find an E-Bell that worked online, the only one I have is the shell of a General Signals one I got years ago from a BNSF employee.

I have a General Signals Type 1 e-bell that sounds more like a type 2. The date on the circuit board is October 2000, while the date stamp inside the base is April 2004. The blue terminal on the circuit board will only adjust the volume, not the ring rate. When set to maximum volume the bell is very loud, and I'm wondering if it is some kind of "loud tone" version of the bell. I didn't show this in the video as the camera doesn't really pick up the volume difference that much.

I would be interested in hearing from anyone who can shed any light on why this bell sounds the way it does, and not more like the usual type 1.
