Can't remember if these teardrop bells in WA have been posted before, they do look familiar.
Victory Lane, Donnybrook (out of service) https://www.google.com.au/maps/@-33.576 ... 328!8i1664
I think these two may be part of the Hotham Valley Tourist Railway, although they don't seem to be used very often.

Slightly off topic, but I found this photo in a Facebook group I'm in recently showing a crossing in New Zealand in 2005 with Griswold Type B lights, some kind of mechanical bell, and a Teardrop bell! It's a bit hard to tell, but based on the base, coloring, and shape, I believe it might be a McK&H Teardrop:

That's a nice crossing, does the picture say where it is? Would be interesting if the crossing is on GSV. I would say that teardrop is a McK&H, I've seen others painted in the same colors, such as this one on the Pleasant Point Railway https://www.google.com.au/maps/@-44.261 ... 312!8i6656freebrickproductions wrote:Slightly off topic, but I found this photo in a Facebook group I'm in recently showing a crossing in New Zealand in 2005 with Griswold Type B lights, some kind of mechanical bell, and a Teardrop bell! Ok. The track is electrified, which means it is probably on a main line, which means the crossing has probably been upgraded by now. I Will have a hunt around on GSV.freebrickproductions wrote:Photo didn't say, sadly.McK&H.Aust wrote:That's a nice crossing, does the picture say where it is? The lights appear to be McK&H, must have been one of their older models with the option of fitting rear lights. The next crossing also has them, but without the rear lights. You can just make out where the rear lights would have attached underneath https://www.google.com.au/maps/@-44.262 ... 312!8i6656ToledoRailfan wrote:Got some interesting rear lights there!McK&H.Aust wrote:That's a nice crossing, does the picture say where it is? Re: Location of currently known existing McK&H or WH Teardrops
Unfortunately, it seems as though the Teardrop Bell on display at Port Adelaide Railway Station has been vandalized and is now missing the bolts used to secure the rear panel. As a result, the internal components of the bell are now exposed. You can see the damage in this video:

One of the lights has been smashed too.

Re: Location of currently known existing McK&H or WH Teardrops
Yep, I wonder how that happened. Also in the video is a cast iron Teardrop at Old Tailem Town, and also SA’s last operating Teardrop at the National Railway Museum. It operates every time the mini train passes by, so it probably operates very regularly and last time I was there it sounded very healthy. EDIT: This teardrop has been taken down and replaced with a Safetran bell as it was apparently burning up the transformer powering it.
