Locations Of Currently Existing/Known RRS (pre-WRRS) bells
Since these bells aren't too common anymore, I felt that we should start cataloging these pre-WRRS bells (bade by Bryant Zinc Co. and Railroad Supply Co.). These bells look very similar to a WRRS mechanical bell, except that they have a fancier base that appears to be cast-on to the rest of the bell (WRRS bells have a detachable base), and lack any kind of logos on the back.
Same rules apply for this thread as other threads of its type: the bell in question has to be currently standing (at least as of the last time someone/street view passed it). Ones already on the site don't need to be documented here.
To start with, here's one at East Street in Frankfort, IN: (Posted four views so y'all can get a better idea of how these look on street view).

Oh that's cool! I wonder how far back these RRS bells go before WRRS?

The one on the wig-wag on display at the Heart of Dixie Railroad Museum was most likely installed with the wig-wag back in 1913, if that gives you any idea. Unfortunately, I'm not entirely aware of when WRRS began.ZachL wrote:Oh that's cool! I wonder how far back these RRS bells go before WRRS?

David posted that first link above you.Railtrack wrote:There's many in my area :

That is also one of the most strangest and baffling setups i've seen.
