what i mean is that i didn't see the RRS bell because i wasn't looking for an RRS bell i was looking for wrrs/federal signal/ wch rotable cantilievers
very lucky to live two-three blocks away from three teardrop bells. one of which i see at least once a week!

1st is a WCH bell, second is a Modern Industries.

Believe both have since been upgraded anyways.

sorry for bumping this very old thread but i was checking the tracks out of service thread and noticed this one link had a view of an abandoned signal with an RRS bell!

I'm honestly not sure if that was an RRS bell or a WRRS bell. Couldn't really ever get a good look at the back or the base.
Either way though, the signal is now gone according to satellite imagery:

it isn't one i'm afraid but still nice find because i don't even know who made the bell in question and i if you're not sure better to text one of the other members or administrators and leave the bell in question out of the post.

For those who are curious, it's a Modern Industries mechanical bell. Nice late L&N install there though. :TUP2:
