My WCH mechanical bell (0333)

Post by Railtrack » Sun Mar 12, 2017 5:50 pm

Hello! I recently bought a WCH model 0333 mechanical bell and as you can see in the picture, the diagram is very damaged. You can not see it. I would like to make it work but I have no idea what sides are positive and negative. Also, there is a crack in the back, as you can also see in the picture. I was wondering how to fix it. David Prince advised me to weld the back cover. Are there other possible solutions? I do not understand how this bell cracked. It was in Bradenton, Florida.

Oh wow, that's pretty neat to see a WCH bell that's not on a "stair" base like most of them.

Nice bell, and welcome to the boards first off.

Wiring the bell is quite easy as the wires go to the black module on the bottom right on the inside. The positive wire goes to the one on the left and the negative wire goes to the one in the middle.
