I used to live close to a couple WABCO bells.

Here is a video I got of one of those crossings.

Still not as uncommon as...say, a Safetran Type-1 e-bell or a US&S teardrop.

I'd say that US&S mechanical bells are more common, though they're harder to find on Google Maps due to the fact that they're essentially a rebranded MI bell, and look exactly the same from the front. At the very least, US&S mechanical bells are about as common as WABCO bells.

very lucky to live two-three blocks away from three teardrop bells. one of which i see at least once a week!
