I'm honestly not sure. Unless it's a messed-up "normal" (at least here in America) e-bell, then I'd need to see a picture of it in hopes of identifying it. Street view is no help as they haven't updated the imagery there since 2007 either. Kinda sounds like one of those Polish e-bells though. BTW, do you think you can get out there and get a picture of it?

Here's what I believe to be the crossing in question. Streetview is a decade old however.

I plan to take a trip near here this weekend and will take photos of both bells and try to get a activation.

Seems like we've been finding a lot of weird e-bells lately...

Quick bump.

Has anyone been able to get (back) out there yet and see what the bell looks like?

Well, one of those NEGs was there in the video above. So unless one of them is messed-up or has a custom tone, then I'm not sure if the bell that was in the video's still there.

The fuzzy sound makes it sound like a GS Type 1 e-bell.

I was exploring some crossings on the FEC in Miami when I came across this bell. It's painted black which gives us an indication of it's age, but I'm more curios about it's shape. It looks like a Safetran Mechanical bell to me, but I'm not entirely sure. https://www.google.com/maps/@25.8415149 ... 312!8i6656 This bell still exist as far as I know. I haven't been up to Hialeah in a while, but last I was, it was still in place.
