Not a bell-only crossing, but this is one of only two crossings I know of in Wisconsin with this "bell-on-a-stick" setup. Plus it's a mini bell:

I guess Mini-Bells are a Northeastern thing only, because I have seen zero in person before.

It is probably a trolley crossing... they also have a lot of Safetran Hybrids there.SouthernPacificLines wrote:Ive heard of one mini bell in Southern California, I think it is somewhere near San Diego.

well besides the one in your house idk of any in CaliforniaSouthernPacificLines wrote:Yeah, thats the one, the bulk head mount on it is what made me think it was a mini. Too bad it isn't because I've never heard of any other minis in Southern California.PaulSP wrote:Yeah after looking at it a bit i noticed that it was not a mini, too bad... but it is kinda interesting crossing though.KLM92 wrote:Hate to bust your bubble, but thats just a WRRS 0222 or a WCH 0333. Thats not a mini bell.

Some more crossings in my area w/ mini-bells:
http://maps.google.com/maps?f=q&source= ... 4,,0,-2.47
- It appears the closest signal has a regular WCH m-bell and the farther signal has a mini-bell.
http://maps.google.com/maps?f=q&source= ... 6,,0,-7.66
- Two mini-bells with this setup.
http://maps.google.com/maps?f=q&source= ... 2,,0,-5.81
- Mini-bell on the closer signal w/ a Safetran m-bell on the farther one. Also note the mast-only signal behing the power pole.
http://maps.google.com/maps?f=q&source= ... 8,,0,-6.16
- Another set of mini-bells.
http://maps.google.com/maps?f=q&source= ... 9,,0,-13.9
- Another set. Note the setup of the signal on the right (move closer to the crossing and look to the right).
http://maps.google.com/maps?f=q&source= ... 6.78,,0,-3
- Another set, another interesting setup.
http://maps.google.com/maps?f=q&source= ... 5,,0,-0.98
- Another set.
http://maps.google.com/maps?f=q&source= ... 1,,0,-2.82
- Another set.
http://maps.google.com/maps?f=q&source= ... 1,,0,-3.26
- Another set.
http://maps.google.com/maps?f=q&source= ... 1,,0,-5.98
- Another set.
http://maps.google.com/maps?f=q&source= ... 2,,0,-2.21
- Another Set.
Note that these are all on the same line. Enjoy these sets on Street View, becuase most of these crossings (especially towards the end of the list) are in a city known for its high crime rate and I feel very unsafe going to these in person, despite how unique they appear to be.
