I betcha it still is because that is a double crossing. The track further down looks to be used still (at least as of August last year when GSV was there), and I'm sure that signal activates for a train on the active track.

There is a way to go back to the old version. I think it is on the right side towards the top if I remember correctly. You also need to clear your browser's cookies once you do so your computer won't remember the newer version.
