Go back to 2007 and you'll see that the bells there were on the opposite sides of the crossing!

Go back to 2007 and you'll see that the bells there were on the opposite sides of the crossing!
This one has been gone for a while, replaced with a GS Type 3 last year I want to say. Luckily I did get it in the background on a few of my videos.

How many of the mechanical bells and 8 inch lights remain along the line?
8" lights are very rare now, only 3 I can think of offhand. Sexton Road near Escalon, Tully Rd & 7th St in Hughson are the only 3 I can think of that haven't been upgraded.

A few mechanical bells are still out there but their numbers are dwindling. Yosemite Ave in Escalon still has its WCH, Harrold Ave has a RACO, Claus Ave in Riverbank has a Safetran. Buchanan Hollow Rd near Le Grand is the only crossing on the Stockton Sub that has a pair of mechanicals, WRRS & WCH I think.

Depends if its still there, that street view was taken in October 2015 and for all we know that bell could be long gone.
