Switches to a new gate after changing views tho!
It's always been a regular gate as far as I can tell. It's just that the wooden pole behind the gate comes in at such an angle that it makes it look like a wishbone gate. Also, look here:

If it were an a-frame gate, it would look more like this:

They/Them for me, please.

A couple on the TTI in Kentucky. The images were taken in 2009, so fingers crossed that they are still there.

Nice find! Back in 2008, the signal on the other side had one as well, but it looked quite bad and obviously they replaced it by 2012.

Since my travles recently took me that way, here are some photos from October 2015. I did some browsing on GSV and found a bunch more defunct crossings. I found a lot of vintage signals, but this was the only A-frame gate.

Some Australian crossings with wishbone gates in rural New South Wales. All of these crossings are on the main line between Sydney and Melbourne.

Boorowa Rd, Cunningar https://www.google.com/maps/@-34.558593 ... 312!8i6656
This crossing also has GRS type D gate mechanisms and a teardrop bell https://www.google.com/maps/@-34.558512 ... 312!8i6656

Nubba Rd, Nubba https://www.google.com/maps/@-34.524391 ... 328!8i1664
This crossing also has GRS type D mechanisms and WCH M-bells. Very rare these days is the old style black & white stripes on the gates https://www.google.com/maps/@-34.524477 ... 328!8i1664

Pinkerton Rd, Cootamundra https://www.google.com/maps/@-34.636348 ... 312!8i6656
The crossing has WCH M-bells and Harmon gate mechanisms (now very rare in Australia). Another interesting thing is the gate lights have been upgraded to LED but they still kept the old gates https://www.google.com/maps/@-34.636214 ... 312!8i6656

Cowcumbla St, Cootamundra https://www.google.com/maps/@-34.648727 ... 312!8i6656
The crossing has GRS type D mechanisms and I also love the teardrop bell and old style gate lights. That would be a cool house to live in, right next to the teardrop bell :TUP2: https://www.google.com/maps/@-34.648795 ... 312!8i6656

Back Brawlin Rd, Cootamundra https://www.google.com/maps/@-34.652159 ... 312!8i6656
This crossing has all WCH equipment. Note also how the "Stop On Red Signal" signs are mounted on separate posts, quite unusual https://www.google.com/maps/@-34.652385 ... 312!8i6656

Bethungra https://www.google.com/maps/@-34.762824 ... 328!8i1664
This crossing has WRRS/GRS type B gate mechanisms which are now very rare https://www.google.com/maps/@-34.762954 ... 328!8i1664
It also appears that there are signal maintainers working at the crossing https://www.google.com/maps/@-34.763037 ... 328!8i1664

Balfour St, Culcairn https://www.google.com/maps/@-35.667631 ... 312!8i6656
The crossing has GRS type D mechanisms and a teardrop bell https://www.google.com/maps/@-35.667667 ... 312!8i6656
Note also the enlarged backgrounds on these 8 inch lights. Not sure who made them but they are downright ugly in my opinion :Censored: https://www.google.com/maps/@-35.667671 ... 312!8i6656

Those appear to be standard US&S/GRS 8 inch lights with a 24 inch (or similarly sized) background on them.
I agree that it looks ugly.
They/Them for me, please.

Beautiful! That is a near-complete WRRS Model 10 gate/signal (best I can tell only the signs are modern). And those No. 1585 gate lanterns even have the shields on them. It'd be kind of cool if they added one to the pedestrian gate, too. This set-up is what I used to see all the time throughout Chicagoland.
