Heart of Huntsville Drive, Huntsville, AL
Signal on the left: 3 pairs of Safetran 12x20 inch lights with Dialight ball LEDs and a General Signals Type 2 Electronic bell.
Signal on the right: 5 pairs of Safetran 12x20 inch lights with Dialight ball LEDs.
One of the lights on the cantilever signals has had the visor broken off.
Also, with this crossing, I only have three more signalized crossings on the HMCR line that I haven't videoed. They all have 12x24 inch LED lights and e-bells, although I believe that Ditto Marina Parkway has a General Signals Type-1 e-bell at it.

Unusual to see the signals flash in opposition like that. I like the ex-NS MP15, too!

Yea. What's even weirder is that this crossing was created in 2007. All of the HMCR's crossings that have cantilevers that they installed have all of the lights flash in tandem, but this crossing doesn't for some reason. The way it operates reminds me of Bob Wallace Avenue.AndyWS wrote:Unusual to see the signals flash in opposition like that. I like the ex-NS MP15, too!
Also, as I mentioned on YouTube, the MP15DC is still owned by NS. The HMCR is borrowing it from them until they can get their engine, HMCR 8933, repaired.

Call me crazy... but I kind of like the lights flashing in opposition like that. At least the mast lights on both sides are synced.

Here's another video I got of the crossing today, showing that the mast signal now has a light with half of it's background missing:

Re: Heart of Huntsville Drive, Huntsville, AL
*originally recorded on 4-26-19*
Signal on the left: 2.5 pairs of Safetran 12x20 inch lights with Dialight Ball LEDs, 1 Safetran 12x24 inch light with a Dialight Ball LED, and a General Signals Type 2 electronic bell.
Signal on the right: 4.5 pairs of Safetran 12x20 inch lights with Dialight Ball LEDs and 1 Safetran 12x24 inch light with a Dialight Ball LED.
This was the last video I got of the HMCR at on 4-26-19. The only changes to this crossing was that the broken backgrounds and visors were replaced, so now two of the lights here are 12x24 inch instead of 12x20 inch like they were originally.

No major changes as of 5-21-20, though the mast signal here is now leaning a bit.
