They've cleaned up some of the stuff around the crossing recently when the new Dairy Queen next to the crossing was built. For example, the utility pole that was blocking the cantilever before is now gone.

That WCH mechanical bell sounds different than most others!

It sounds similar to the one at Church Street as well, IMO:

On 5-24-18, I recorded the crossing from the other side:

*originally recorded on 11-1-20*

Signal on the left: 5 pairs of Safetran 12x20 inch lights, a Safetran gate mechanism, and RECO LED gate lights.
Signal on the right: 5 pairs of Safetran 12x20 inch lights, a WCH mechanical bell, a Safetran gate mechanism, and RECO LED gate lights.

After catching NS 362 at Church Street, I decided to set-up at this crossing for NS 101 since I hadn't recorded it in a couple of years. In those two years, the only major change here appears to have been that the gate lights were all upgraded to LED, which happened back in 2019. Thankfully, these 90s NS signals are still hanging on with the WCH mechanical bell, and will hopefully remain here without any major changes for years to come.
Also, after the train passes, you can hear the defect detector next to this crossing going off.
