Still seems like something's not right, almost like it's getting hung up on something about 1/2 way down (and a bit on the way up too). Wonder if this could get worse in the future?freebrickproductions wrote:Gate's fixed:

Yea, I noticed that. I wonder if it is an after affect of the gate being slammed into the pavement.cabman701 wrote:Still seems like something's not right, almost like it's getting hung up on something about 1/2 way down (and a bit on the way up too). Re: Derrick Street, Huntsville, AL
Here's the "new" signal in action:
Signal on the left: 2 pairs of Safetran 12x20 inch lights, a Safetran gate mechanism, and RECO LED gate lights.
Signal on the right: 2 pairs of Safetran 12x20 inch lights, a Safetran mechanical bell, a Safetran gate mechanism, and RECO LED gate lights.
As there wasn't enough ambient light for the crossing, I decided to park my van on the hill behind the camera (but leave it running) and turn the brights on to light-up the crossing. Worked pretty well, but I'll definitely have to come back out here and re-record it during the day.
Since I last recorded this crossing, the signal on the right got knocked down and replaced. Interestingly enough, NS decided to reinstall an older signal, with the "new" signal being almost entirely reused from the Mooresville Road crossing in Bella Mina! The only pieces of equipment that didn't get re-used from that crossing for the "new" signal are one of the lights (re-used from the previous signal here) and the gate arm and gate lights (both are brand new). The DOT tag is now also located in a bit of an odd spot as well.
