*originally recorded on 12-15-22*

Signal on the left: 2 pairs of Safetran 12x24 inch lights, a Safetran Type 2 electronic bell, a Safetran gate mechanism, RECO gate lights, and a RECO LED gate light.
Signal on the right: 2 pairs of Safetran 12x24 inch lights, a Safetran gate mechanism, a RECO gate light, and RECO LED gate lights.

On December 15th, after being cooped-up in my house for over 3 months straight working on my massive website update (posted just a couple of days prior), I decided to go out and record a few trains around my area since I wanted to get out some. I saw the signal next to Holmes Avenue was red for an approaching east bound, so I was trying to decide where to go, when I went across this crossing and saw it quickly approaching from the west. As such, I quickly stopped and set-up here, and was just able to get NS 288 coming through Huntsville with an ET44AC leading an AC44C6M for power.

As you can see, since I was last here, NS has replaced about half of the gate lights on this crossing with new LED ones, with the tip gate light on the far signal and the middle and tip gate lights on the near signal all being replaced. Otherwise, the crossing seems to be largely unchanged, though the gate mech on this side sounds noticeably noisy now, for some reason.
I'll probably see about coming back here before too long for a better video, BTW.

*originally recorded on 4-15-24*

Signal on the left: 2 pairs of Safetran 12x24 inch lights, a Safetran gate mechanism, a RECO gate light, and RECO LED gate lights.
Signal on the right: 2 pairs of Safetran 12x24 inch lights, a Safetran Type 2 electronic bell, a Safetran gate mechanism, a RECO gate light, and RECO LED gate lights.

After catching 363 in Brownsboro, I chased it on over to downtown Huntsville, where I got to meet-up with madisoncountysirens4295. Soon after, NS 363 came rolling by once again, and we went on back home after this.

No changes have occurred to this crossing since I last recorded it either. However, apparently sometime before my past couple of videos of this crossing, the tip gate light on the closer signal was replaced with an LED one.
