*originally recorded on 1-27-18*

Signal on the left: 2 pairs of Safetran 12x24 inch lights with WCH 2nd Generation LEDs.
Signal on the right: 2 pairs of Safetran 12x24 inch lights with WCH 2nd Generation LEDs, a General Signals Type 2 electronic bell, and a US&S Relay Case.

This is certainly a nice and unique crossing, even with the LED lights and e-bell. The left-hand signal is a newer signal that's likely due to a knock-down replacement, but the right-hand signal is especially interesting as it's an old Tennessee Central install! The signal is also mounted atop of an old US&S relay case, which you don't see much of anymore, especially since the relay case the signal is on is still the active relay case for the crossing, which is even rarer to see (I want to say most relay cases of this style are now abandoned in place)! I'm willing to bet that this crossing originally had US&S 8 inch lights and a teardrop bell, but those are sadly now gone. But either way, I'm glad I was able to record this rare signal. The road this crossing is on also used to be TN 53 years ago before it was later re-routed just east of this crossing, which is probably how this signal has held on for so long.
They/Them for me, please.
