The B&SV is running slower than ever. They've jacked their ticket prices way up this year, almost double for their Sunday "Dessert" train.
Hopefully they'll put some funding into track maintenance...
If you check the comments on the video, it sounds like the track not too far past this area (Jordan switch) is out of service due to washouts from the 2010 floods. So, this stretch of crappy looking rail probably won't see any TLC any time soon.
