*originally recorded on 7-9-19*

Signal on the left: 2 pairs of Safetran 12x24 inch lights, a Safetran mechanical bell, a Safetran gate mechanism, and NEG gate lights.
Signal on the right: 3 pairs of Safetran 12x24 inch lights, a Safetran gate mechanism, and RECO gate lights.

This crossing's pretty much a pure 1980s NS install with no major changes done to it. However, the gate mechs here, especially the closer one, seem to need a bit of TLC, and the Safetran bell sounds rather weak when ringing when the gates rise. Interestingly enough, there's a pair of side lights that face a cornfield on the closer signal. It appears that there was once a road that ran parallel to the tracks here, called Oakfield Cut-off Road.
At the next crossing to the south, Oakfield Road, the gateless 1990s NS install there also features a pair of side lights facing a small stub of Oakfield Road that still exists, pretty much just being a driveway for the house that's along it now though. At this crossing however, all that's left is just the grassy stub where Oakfield Cut-off Road once terminated, and a cornfield beyond that.
