Can't have signals without railroads, so talk about your favorite locomotives, railroads and any other (non signal) railroad related stuff.

The Black Bear Diner in Beaverton is directly across from the Hocken Avenue crossing.

You think your car gets bad mileage? SP 4449 consumes 10 gallons of bunker oil and 100 gallons of water every mile.

Subway is right next to the Union Pacific tracks at 6th & North Grand in Springfield. You can see the crossing signals just past the traffic signals.

Also, Gabatoni's, a very popular pizza place in town is also next to the Union Pacific tracks at 3rd & Laurel streets.

There are other's too. I just have to remember where they are.

Next to the Gable Rd. crossing in Saint Helens, OR, there are a Starbucks & Subway.
Within walking distance are a Papa Murphy's Take/Bake Pizza, a Taco Bell, a McDonald's, & a Burgerville.
