I personally don't know. The Griswolds in the picture are the rotating stop sign ones, which typically used the Type A lights. It's possible some of the side lights were Type Bs, but it only appears to be one pair, unless the signal with three pairs of lights used all Type B lights.

The signals on the left in the photo appear to be Type-Bs.. at least that's how I see them considering how far they're sticking out from the signal.
