Ferromex Locomotives
Now here is this very interesting train I caught in Ohio, a Ferromex Locomotive leads a mixed freight with NS SD80MAC.
Have you ever seen any Ferromex locomotives in person? I had. Only once in my life.
Ferromex Railroad lines only operate in Mexico, and only at least few run through the United States, but that's so interesting I found.

Re: Ferromex Locomotives
I don't think any of their lines run through The States.

Re: Ferromex Locomotives
Supposedly the owners of Ferromex bought the FEC, so they might own stuff in Florida now?

Re: Ferromex Locomotives
I don't know much about Ferromex, but on rare occasions even though they don't own any lines in the US they still might run on other lines.

Re: Ferromex Locomotives
Ferromex is entirely a Mexican railroad (FEC not included), however they have trackage right up to the US boarder, which is probably how their engines get here into the US. Their reporting mark is FXE. ALso, Ferromex themselves don't own the FEC, but their parent company, Grupo México, does now.
I've also seen only one Ferromex engine in my life as well:

Re: Ferromex Locomotives
By looking at this map of Ferromex: https://www.ferromex.com.mx/ferromex-lo ... rromex.jsp
They can go across the US-Mexico border, and you'll find them more likely (but rare) in California, Arizona, New Mexico, an Texas than the rest of the United States (because Ferromex has some international deliveries in these 4 states), and the further you live from the US-Mexico border, the rarer that you'll see these locomotives.
Although I haven't to see a Ferromex locomotive as of yet, but once I travel to eastern Texas, I may, just may spot one of these locomotives if Ferromex does one of their International Deliveries.

Re: Ferromex Locomotives
Caught my first one at 17th Road last week. In Wisconsin if they appear it is almost always on Union Pacific (which makes sense because UP is the other part owner, after Grupo México).

Re: Ferromex Locomotives
Actually, scratch my last post, my recent video I filmed of the Metairie Rd (Metairie, LA) crossing, I spotted a Ferromex locomotive (0:59 in the video) as well as a Ferromex car (4:35 in the video) going across this crossing, something I was not expecting.

Re: Ferromex Locomotives
Well, after I said they usually only appeared on the Union Pacific, I've caught three leading on the Canadian Pacific so far in 2019!
