Re: February Photo of the Month
I'll go with this one from Wauwatosa, WI that's not on the site yet:
This is 60th St. on the CP main. Most of these 12" x 20" WCH signals along the line have either been replaced with 12" x 24" Safetran signals with Dialight or fading L.E.D.s and GS Type 2 e-bells, or at the very least had some kind of L.E.D. inserts put in the 12" x 20" frames.
Probably the only reason these are still incandescent is because 60th St. doesn't really cross the tracks, it only goes north from the other side of the intersection with State Street. The only thing that crosses the tracks going south from the intersection is a driveway that leads to some industry parking lots.

BNSF Train comes through at Cridge St. in Riverside, CA. You can see the U.P. signal under the trailer.

Yeah, a wigwag is an operating crossing signal. The rules say that as long it is not passive, it is okay unless it is ruled out by a !SPECIAL EVENT!PaulSP wrote:That wigwag looks nice with its new crossbuck.bnsfc44 wrote:Philips Street wiwag in Hanford, Ca. Still swinging in 2011.

Yes and no... The mast lights aren't much different than what's going in, and there isn't enough lights on the masts.
I'm unsure about bells though, if there were any old ones.
