A GP60 and a GP60M are nose to nose as they are hauled out D.I.C. on the B-PHXSBD "repo" train on January 16, 2011.

Found a pretty neat GTW GP38-2 with some radio antennas and strobes. In a lash-up of nothing but Geeps.

A pair of SD70ACe's pull the now empty covered hoppers out of the Lehigh cement plant in Monolith on 09/28/2010. It's rare to find UP power this clean around here.

On second thought. I've decided not to participate this month.

That lead unit is the only UP SD70ACe to have Union Pacific lettering on the side and not the flag logo.

Nice CLEAN SD 70 ACE
I would like to find the guy that told me I'd never see Aces on locals and switch jobs and have a nice southern style talking with him :LOL2:

Oh my... It is called Lehigh Cement? I have it in Trainz, but never knew where it was located! Now I can place it at Monolith on my route!

They most certainly are not! Diesel locomotives were manufactured by ALCO, Lima, Baldwin (yes steam locomotive manufactures made diesels too) General Electric or GE, and of course EMD. Now days, only GE and EMD still make diesel locos.
Here are two websites that will help you get to know the various loco models:

http://www.locophotos.com

good for newer units, though some steam and older units on there.

http://www.rrpicturearchives.net/modelList.aspx

Pictures of almost everything, including non American units, though not every picture is labeled correctly.
