Kind of ridiculous to price it this high if there's no interior.

But...but... It's vintage. And antique.

This guy wants $300 for a garden Railroad Crossing signal, (Plus 74 dollars for shipping, making that $374!)

This guy is asking for $320 for a Griswold bell, now it's nice and all, but i think the black paint around the bell, and the bronze coat of paint for the rain shield just makes the bell look weird.

Griswold bells are so rare that I'd consider that price fair.

Now i ain't complaining about the price, i'm just saying that the way the bell is painted makes it look quite weird.

Who asks for 3 grand for a steam whistle?

Now i'd call this a fair price, but i'm quite unimpressed with the description.

Western Cullen Hayes Railroad Crossing Mechanical Bell Model 0333 with post mounting plate.

Not working. There is continuity all the way through but could not make work with a 12v DC power supply.

Hammer moves freely by hand.

Sold as is. I'm sure to the right, technically inclined, person this would be an easy fix.

See pictures for condition
According to his description, he tried to use a 12 volt generator on it, but that failed.

If it's from the 1800s or early 1900s, then that could be one thing.

I wouldn't be surprised if that is normal pricing for train horns. They aren't like crossing bells.

It most likely is. Train horns are known to be expensive.
