Not the worst price I've seen on a Crouse-hinds Type-R. Personally I'd say it should be in the $150-$200 range, but it's about where many antique stores typically price their traffic signals...

This guy really is taking in the p*ss, he wants $1,800 for this US&S teardrop bell, who claims its never been restored or repainted,and is also missing the bells base. Not quite as expensive as the last teardrop bell, but at $800 it's still a high price for a bell which may not work and has a cracked door. Looks like it was being used as a boat anchor!
$800.00 plus $100.00 shipping for a total of $900.00! Not only is it in despicable condition, but we don't even get any photos of the inside. The description mentions that it can be a "restoration project." https://www.ebay.com/itm/Old-U-S-S-Co-T ... %7Ciid%3A1

He lives in England, and that just ships to within the US.
Also, there might not be any wires due to the wires that connected to the rest of the signal from the bell having been removed prior to removal.
