Safetran Vs Westinghouse Hybrid Bells

Postby Gametrain54321 » Sat Nov 10, 2018 1:02 pm

Which do you think is better: A Safetran Hybrid Bell or a Westinghouse Hybrid Bell? TBH, I like them both, so for me this is a hard question to answer.
Hey, I live within 15 minutes reach of a dead/disconnected WABCO bell, a working RACO bell, a working Safetran Hybrid Bell, and a working pair of 8 inch GRS LEX-C lights. That's something, right?

Added a poll.
There should be a legal limit as to how humid it can be on any given day during the summer here in the South...

Westinghouse ones use a lower-pitched gong that's usually painted black.

However, are the internals all the same?

I want to say so? I'd have to see pictures of the insides of both to be able to make an accurate judgement on that.
