traffic lights with traffic conditions too low for a camera.

Doesn't matter traffic volume just matters the likelyhood of a wreck, the cameras are their to make money and create a force multiplier for the police in the act to scare people into driving safer by obeying the law.
I'd rather have speed cameras in residential areas and school zones, where speeding cars could seriously hurt someone.
Have you ever lost a friend in a traffic crash, have you ever witnessed a pedestrian being struck?

Well, you do have a good point there, yeah, places like that is more of a risk to take regarding high volume of pedestrians and with low speeds and everything.

Usually when someone tries to speed through an intersection to beat the light, they ARE going to be speeding. Either that... or because they are texting, putting on makeup, reading the newspaper, eating... whatever... they run through a light that has been red for 30 seconds or more. The likelihood of a pedestrian or another vehicle being struck because of their stupidity is pretty high.

Just saying...

The intersection of Forsyth and North Skinker Blvd is a good example, traffic isn't very busy for a downtown city street, but due to its location
right next to Washington University and Forest Park/walking trail, the likely hood of a pedestrian being struck is very high.
When ATS put cameras up at this intersection they caught nearly 200 violations IN A SINGLE DAY!

Here is a clip from the camera 3 vehicles run the light.

Cameras are also great for accident reconstruction and criminal investigations.

Heres why you get a ticket for making a right turn on red with out coming to a complete stop.
If the biker would have been in the crosswalk he would have been struck.

A red light camera captured a former Palm Coast City Councilman slamming into a Flagler County deputy's patrol car, while driving a Smart Car.

Also here something for all the school bus drivers out there.

I speak my mind, if you don't like that oh well. I'll have you fill out a hurt feelings report and submit that to my office.
