Sorry for bumping this topic. My favorite gate mechanism has to be the em gate mechs that griswold, raco, and safetran produced. I know they were a pain in the 
to maintain, but I do like the way they look. Shame they're getting harder to find. Fortunately the MNA has one left in Joplin, MO since the other gate mech got replaced by a modern wch gate mech.
