Talk about other non-signal stuff here. Make sure to obey the rules though.

^ Good point, Elton. :TUP2:
You think your car gets bad mileage? SP 4449 consumes 10 gallons of bunker oil and 100 gallons of water every mile.

That is true, however Arizona has used that sign since I was in the 2nd grade (1987), and I doubt they'll change it now. Just goes to show you how stupid this state is.

Iowa needs to raise the 55 mph speed limit on 2 lane rurals to at least 60 if not 65. Besides most of us are doing nearly 70 anyway. The only problem is when some damn state trooper goes out to collect his quota and starts pulling those of us doing 65 as we usually do. (County deputies only pull ppl over if they're WAY over the limit. I've done 70 past them constantly and they don't even bat an eye about it.)
Well, :Censored:

Here's what the real sign is supposed to look like: http://www.azdot.gov/highways/traffic/s ... HT-YEL.pdf

The real sign should say 15 MPH, but I've seen numerous times the 15 without MPH, like what I enclosed before.

Even Wickenburg had a "15" without MPH back in the late 1980s, such as this: Image

Here's what a REAL "DOUBLE FINES" sign should look like: http://www.trafficsign.us/pdf/sch/s4-5az.pdf

The max I've seen in NYS is 65. The lowest I've seen in a public area is 10. There's a highway that's closeby that's called I-87, or more specifically The Adirondak Northway. For a certain portion of it (like when it first starts) the limit is 55, but people will do 70 and even 75 in that zone. I've never seen a cop pull over anyone in that zone unless they were doing 70 or higher. After that zone, the limit changes to 65 where people seem to obey that more, although I still people doing like 80.

Ever since the price of gas has come down and the economy has gone down the toilet, the idiot politicians seem to have forgotten about their genius idea to reinstate the National 55 mph speed limit. Let's hope it stays out of their minds....
