I got out of McAfee about 7 years ago, so no I wasn't affected.

yah my subscription to norton ended a little while ago and i bought the new norton 360

and it has blocked a few things that have came though via email
also that test you have above it blocked

I only plan on getting Norton Internet Security.
The test worked, but do note that my test site should be blocked by Internet Explorer and Firefox alone.

I've used McAfee. McAfee is a joke and I won't touch them again.

I've used Norton also. I'm not a big fan of Norton (due to previous experience), but I would use them again (thanks much improved software).

I'm currently using Kaspersky. I have no complaints so far.

Speaking of the McAfee false positive. My younger sister was affected by it. I had the (dis)pleasure of fixing her computer.

Luke go with norton 360 it will back up your computer and go though email

their are a ton of roamers that McAfee was the one that started putting viruses on peoples computers to show how venerable pc are and also to sell a program to make a quick buck ether way the program is crap and i will NEVER use it

I'm only going with Internet Security because 360 is a little more than I need, and a little beyond my budget.

Besides, I back up manually.
