Talk about other non-signal stuff here. Make sure to obey the rules though.

Was in the Miami area over the Thanksgiving holiday. Saw these traffic lights that appear to have 3M green sections in them on each side. Kind of odd to have just one of the lights like this, plus the visors are round instead of the normal square-ish.

Also saw several signals along this road that still have incandescent yellow and green sections, but LED red's. Very odd to find that this day and age, especially on heavy traveled roads.

Thanks. Didn't realize there were other brands of this type of light.

McCain is also the only company that still makes PV signals. Intelight was another brand, but they stopped a few years ago.
They/Them for me, please.

Interestingly, there are three pairs of Intelight beacons here at one signal in Tampa. These aren't found anywhere else in the area.

Those are actually strobe tubes mounted on a more common signal housing. If they were true Intelights or Optisofts, you'd see a heat sink on the back of the housing.
They/Them for me, please.

Well... if they are going to go through the trouble of blurring it on Streetview... they should blur the satellite view as well.

Maybe because Macaulay Culkin is still Home Alone inside. :Tongue2:
