Wrong drive-in, though it has the same name. If you read the description, you'd see that the video was taken in 2005 (street view of the one you posted was from 2011) and the drive-in in the video was in Kent, WA (not Reedley, CA like the one you posted is).
i thought it was in eureka ca as there was also a drive in there.

how far aay from huntsville is russelville ,al

there is an operating drive in there and i think it would be cool if you went to one!

As Zach pointed out, it ain't too far away, though there's a closer one to me in Athens, AL:
https://www.google.com/maps/@34.7869616 ... 312!8i6656

There's also others in the state, such as one in Gu-Win, AL:

Along with a few others around the state.

Also, fun fact: The Publix (and the surrounding shopping center) at the corner of Whitesburg Drive and Airport Road here in Huntsville was built on the site of a drive-in theater.
probably had a lot of movies interrupted by train horns then :LOL2:

also have you ever been to a drive -in theater because i haven't and i live 30 minutes away from one!
very lucky to live two-three blocks away from three teardrop bells. one of which i see at least once a week!

Don't think either one (the one here in Huntsville or the one in Athens) ever really did. Both aren't exactly near any crossings, and the one here in Huntsville was closest to an L&N branch line.
They/Them for me, please.

The now closed down Happy Dayz not too far away from my house, never visited, but the signs feel dated from several years ago.

The abandoned Littlewoods building, deep in the heart of Edge Lane, it was the main headquarters of the branch until the headquarters there closed in 2003, following by the companys demise in 2004, Pictures show the old classic building itself, but had faced years of neglect by abandonment, plans are to convert the building into a TV and movie studio.

Sadly, a few hours ago, news reports came out that a fire had broke out in the building that had initially started from the roof. Here's one of the images i could find.

Thought i'd provide an update on the building after the fire.

The fire was extinguished earlier this morning, and according to radio reports the building is still structurally sound for the restoration, although the problem is that the inside of the building was damaged by the fire, and part of the roof collapsed (The fire started from the roof) and its believed that with the possibillity of hope from the property developers that they can refurbish the building and not have it demolished.

An investigation is due to go underway, and its been classified as an arson attack, although until we get the full outcome of what exactly happened we won't know.

A few minutes ago, i read an article regarding this pub, an application is due to be reviewed as a Turkish restaraunt brand want to partially demolish and build a Turkish restaraunt on the property. It's supposed to be decided in mid-November on whether the council will accept or reject the proposal to do so. The pub has been closed since August 2013.

This was the last Sayers bakery in the North West of England (They now resort to doing their baking inside their stores)

This bakery closed in June 2008 following the company that owned the bakery company went into administration, 183 jobs were lost at the site in 2006, followed by 200 in 2007. When the companys parent owner went into administration in 2008, that was when the site closed down. Not long after, a fire in September virtually destroyed the roof of the building and its rear part of it.

The building was demolished in 2009. A retail unit now sits on the site.

I've only learned that there was once a nightclub here, this however has been closed since November 2005.

Not surprised. Those things try to be as discreet as possible.
