Stop signs with flashing red lights.

Talk about other non-signal stuff here. Make sure to obey the rules though.

Have you seen them in your area? This four way stop intersection has stop signs with flashing red lights on top.

You mean directly mounted to the stop sign (as you posted above), or just located at the same intersection?
They/Them for me, please.

I see these more often at rural intersections where it's usually darker at night.

This is very common in many parts of Iowa... just a simple and cheap measure used to increase the visibility of the signs. On a intersection where only cross traffic has to stop, they will place a flashing yellow beacon or two on the diamond shaped approach sign to caution drivers to pay attention in case someone may pull out in front of them.
Well, :Censored:

There's a couple in and around St Louis.

OG signal collection signature, I think. :LOL2:

Goshen, WA- intersection of Everson Goshen Road and Smith Road. Streetview last went through here when it was a roundabout. Prior to 2011, this was a four way intersection with a four way flashing red beacon hung on the overhead powerlines. In late 2018/early 2019, they lowered the speed limit in the area to 35 and flashing reduced speed ahead signs were added in. The roundabout was removed earlier this year and the yield signs were replaced with flashing stop signs.

Bellingham, WA- flashing stop signs at the T-intersection of Northwest Avenue and Slater Road. Only Northwest Avenue has the flashing signs.
