Sick tornado siren

Post by cabman701 » Fri Mar 10, 2017 9:49 am

I know some of you guys are also tornado siren fans. Saw this on Facebook this morning... could not find a link for it in YouTube, so you'll have to watch it here. (You don't have to log in... if you get that pop up, just hit "Not Now").

That's a Thunderbolt, but it obviously is having some issues. That storm looks quite impressive as well.

Someone on the Siren Enthusiasts group on Facebook guessed that it needs new brushes (located within the chopper motor) and collector rings (which allow the siren to continuously rotate 360° without having to oscillate or break any wires).
