We had some pretty good storms roll through here Saturday evening. I decided to put my camera on the window sill in movie mode just to see what I could capture. Only 21 seconds into it I caught a pretty awesome lightning strike. The thunder doesn't sound too loud on the video, but trust me, it was!
About 10 seconds after I stopped taping, my power went out. It was only off for about 15 seconds though.

I have video of lightning from a super cell that roared through Hanford about a month ago. I recorded it before it hit. When it did, winds were gusting up to 50 mph. Caused quite a bit of wind damage.
