Re: 38th Season of TPIR
Today a miracle happened. This woman played 1/2 Off, where one box out of 16 has $10K in it. You're given the opportunity to eliminate 14 out of the 16 boxes, making the final decision a 50/50 chance. She didn't get any of the elimination products right making her chose the one box out of the 16 choices. She picked box #7 and much to everyone's surprise, she picked the right box. When I saw it, I was like "Wow...".

I think that's the first win with a 1 out of 16 chance ever.
There have been two 1/8 chance wins that I can recall.
Too bad it wasn't the Million Dollars, like they had in Prime Time before, with the Million Dollars in for a 1 out of 15 chance of winning. She would've won the Million with no problem with those odds.

Re: 38th Season of TPIR
DSW #2 today! She had a difference of $151. I feel bad for the runner-up though, as she had a difference of only $483.
Gotta love it when the contestant bids on the high end of a thousand (like $24,870) and the ARP is on the low end of the next thousand ($25,021). They automatically think when they hear that extra thousand that's what they're off by. You have to listen to the whole price!

Yeah. That's one of the fewest modern day close calls the show has had in a long time.

I found it to be a fun game. I'd like to see this game quite often for Season 39. There are still 2 episodes that'll air throughout the next few months. Otherwise, the show has gone back into reruns again.

Yeah I actually caught it... wasn't sure if it was a new show or a re-run. Does seem like an interesting game.

From what I've read, that episode was supposed to be the "Season Finale", but there were still a few episodes left.

Well, today was the last show of the season, and it was a July 4th special. And it was special indeed - we had our 3rd and final DOUBLE SHOWCASE WINNER of the season! She had a difference of $185 and won $66,465 in prizes. Great way to end the season!
