I watched that episode Today. I almost slept through it...

Shame that Punchboard wasn't better Today. That's my favorite game... :Cry1:

Also, in a few weeks, the 2010 April Fools episode is going to air, and details have been given already.

Looks like Mimi is going to play a much bigger role this time than she did in 2009.

Punchboard seems to be being played a lot lately. Shame there hasn't been any good amounts given away. Today a group of us were watching it at school and after the first 3 holes were revealed (all of which contained $100) one guy said "Watch the last hole be $50..." and what do ya know? It was.

For a moment, I thought it was going to be all $100s, like the time all 4 punches were $500.

The luck of the Irish paid a visit to TPiR today with exciting results - we finally had our first DOUBLE SHOWCASE WINNER of the season!

Here's the video of the win:

Notice when the $216 score is flashing, the regular dinging occurs for 3 seconds before Drew announces the Double Showcase win, then the clangs/whoops happen right after that.

Guess it's been so long that they forgot how to do the sound effects correctly... :Tongue2:

Temptation redebuted today with a brand new look. To start, here's a view of the previous board:

And here's a shot of the new board:

Not a bad change. As you can see, the eggcrate display was taken out and a video display replaced it. As the #s are chosen, the animated dollar signs (that just spin around) slide upward and the number is revealed. The font of the reveal numbers is the same and the font of the chosen numbers now matches the reveal numbers.

Just the other day I was wondering why Temptation had yet to be played this season, and today I got my answer. I'm glad it was played, although it would have been nicer if it was won...

I missed it. Slept through it...

I usually wake up between 10-11 AM MST/PDT. Price airs at 9 AM here.

I saw it today. It does look better. Also, I thought Price aired at 10am in all time zones. I guess not.

Actually where I am it airs at 11, which unfortunately is a time often plagued by news conferences and such, so we're pretty susceptable to news cut-ins.

Interruptions don't happen quite as often here in Arizona. The 9 AM showtime has been here for a very long time. At least since 15 years ago.
