Re: Update #778
They had to go and up the 4-way Griswolds at Academy Street. I was in Edgerton the same day as A.J., and found that the remaining Griswold Type B lights at High St. in Edgerton had also been changed over to 12" x 24" frames with L.E.D.s. I got a couple shots of that.
Otherwise, even though Catlin St. has had its new lights for over a year, the mechanical bell there is still dead. So is the one at Arch St. in Janesville, which just had the light upgrades as well.
Meanwhile, the much busier (in terms of street traffic) crossings along the line (such as Main Street in both Edgerton and Stoughton) which already had 12" lights before this upgrade project began, have not been touched and remain incandescent.
Of course, entirely new signals with gates and e-bells could be in the works for them.

Re: Update #778
Nice to see they moved the Exempt sign under the crossbuck now instead of being underneath the highway sign in Edgerton, Wisconsin. Now the railroad crossing is correctly exempt instead of the highway.
Well,

If you look closely at the first new picture on Academy St in Janesville:

You can see the 2nd crossing signal in the trees next to the train. That is the one that is in the Burger King drive through correct? Quite surprised they actually kept that signal!

Re: Update #778
I believe that is the BK signal.
Re: Update #778
Two things that may be errors, but I'm not entirely sure of:
1) I think BB Road maybe actually be in Columbia instead of Dupo, it's not legible on GSV, but the city limit sign on the outer road for I-255 is north of the crossing:

2) BNSF used to have trackage rights on UP's Chester Sub (the line through Dupo and Columbia); not sure whether BNSF still has them.
