Update #852: 100,000 pictures!
123 new pictures of 5 new crossings from Curtice, OH
51 new pictures of 3 new crossings from Deshler, OH
78 new pictures of 8 new crossings from Grand Rapids, OH
110 new pictures of 7 new crossings from Helena, OH
836 new pictures and 1 new video of 33 new crossings from Lakewood, OH
25 new pictures and 1 new video of 1 new crossing from Lorain, OH
144 new pictures and 4 new videos of 5 new crossings from Marion, OH
74 new pictures and 3 new videos of 3 new crossings from Martin, OH
183 new pictures of 7 new crossings from Oregon, OH
7 new pictures of 1 new crossing from Providence, OH
151 new pictures and 1 new video of 6 new crossings from Republic, OH
146 new pictures and 8 new videos of 6 new and 14 updated crossings from Sandusky, OH
54 new pictures of 4 new crossings from Swanton, OH
103 new pictures of 5 new crossings from Toledo, OH
With this update, the site now has over 100,000 pictures! Thanks to all have who have contributed to reach this number, and we'll be pushing for 200,000 in the next few years!
Some highlights with this update include the grade crossing alley of Ohio known as Lakewood. This town features 33 crossings in a stretch of 3 miles! None of them are quiet zones either so trains have to blow the horn at every one of them. It was pretty cool when I went there and I'll try to go again this year. There are also 2 teardrops included; one from Grand Rapids and one from Marion.
Another pretty cool thing is this features photos from Seth of the crossings at my work; Cedar Point. I'm even in some of these photos (with a dark blue hoodie), and that is just so neat. Cedar Point doesn't really have true crossing signal parts, but if you're into amusement scale stuff, then you'll enjoy it.
And finally, the LED pages of the 102 section have been completely updated, including several new LEDs. There are also up close videos of most of the LEDs.

Congrats on 100,000 pictures!
Also, I spotted a mistake on the homepage. The date for the update reads 'December 28, 2016', not 'January 12, 2017'.

No problem!Edit by Tommy McGowan, not to toot my own my horn, but I work at Cedar Point, and I thank Seth for taking these photos, including some with me in it. I am very busy at Cedar Point so I don't always have time, nor do I really want to stay in the park outside of working, but I do love what I do and I take pride in my job and in these photos too.

It was actually a coincidence as we didn't know each other back then, though I was a member of the forum back then.ZachL wrote:Ohh, that's so cool that y'all got to meet!ToledoRailfan wrote:No problem!Edit by Tommy McGowan, not to toot my own my horn, but I work at Cedar Point, and I thank Seth for taking these photos, including some with me in it. Re: Update #852: 100,000 pictures!
Two mistakes that I've noticed are that the Oregon thumbnail still just leads to the Bay Shore Rd. crossing as opposed to the new Oregon page and that Swanton has a coming soon thumbnail.
