Washington section will be resurrected!

Post by LARDLOGO » Thu May 24, 2012 10:19 pm

I have several photos from Washington. Frankly, I needed to update it, it's the most seldom updated section
(This is just a preview. SEVERAL to come!)

This will be a personal RR Xing Page for awhile, the crossing shown above is E Badger Road, Sumas Wa

DOT #: 396896X
Total Trains Daily: 1 (The FRA says 1 but it's really 1 weekly train due to track condition and lack of service on line) (It used to be 2 daily if you count the Sumas Turn)
Speed: 10 (They actually got it right  )

In the past it was just 2 gateless signals with no bells and an asphalt grade (it's now rubber) and even earlier than that crossbucks.

I'd recommend sending the photos to TommyBNSF or I. I think the photo size limit is 1600x1200, but I'm not sure how well we're enforcing that anymore.
They/Them for me, please.

Photos are about to be submitted. The reason why I couldn't do it earlier this week is because we had a huge hurricane-esque windstorm up here in the Pacific Northwest and the power just came on.

Crossings include:

Marine Drive, Blaine, Washington
F Street, Bellingham, Wa
C Street (CLOSED), Bellingham, WA
Central Avenue, Bellingham, WA
Cornwall Avenue, Bellingham, WA
Wharf St (1 photo only), Bellingham, WA
Boulevard Park, Bellingham, WA
Bob Mitchell Avenue, Sumas, WA

Photos of three crossings are ready to be submitted, but they're rather large.

*BUMP*

I didn't like how my original crossing photos came out, so I'll be doing retakes from here on out. Tomorrow, I'm heading out to the Bellingham Subdivision in anticipation of more trains due to Christmas. I'll get these two crossings if I can.

Marine Drive, Blaine. (Hard to see on streetview because it hasn't been updated in a decade and because they never went down that street.)
