Re: Google Street View
Interesting signal in Shearwater, Nova Scotia. Apparently it goes from flashing yellow to both the reds flashing simultaneously when there is a train.

All that just means is that whatever is being carried is wider than the lane itself.NathanFromEngland wrote:Oversize load!

Looks like a CH. Crouse Hinds signals have the non-flat base while Eagles have the flat base.NathanFromEngland wrote:Crouse Hinds signal?

Re: Google Street View
Yea, it's a Crouse-hinds Art-deco. Kinda surprised the town kept the signal up for so long, since, according to a local there, they would sometimes fail to pay the power bill for it and would unbag the stop signs there until they could get said bill paid. Was being run off of an old Eagle mechanical controller too:ZachL wrote:Looks like a CH. Oxford, AL still has a few old 4-ways (both Crouse-hinds and Eagle) in service still though.
They/Them for me, please.

The town couldn't afford electricity for their own signal????freebrickproductions wrote:Yea, it's a Crouse-hinds Art-deco. Re: Google Street View
Well, outside of maybe Oxford (originally named "Lick Skillet", which should've been kept, IMHO), I doubt that part of Alabama is doing well. I know Anniston's been drying up for some time, and that city's been removing lots of signals over the past several years. I doubt Hobson City is faring much better because of this.ZachL wrote:The town couldn't afford electricity for their own signal????freebrickproductions wrote:Yea, it's a Crouse-hinds Art-deco.
