Some 8 inch lights replaced in Ohio
Well, here is some kind of, boring news to tell you about some railroad crossings in Ohio. I found out that Trenton Franklin Road and Beachler Road had some of their 8 inch lights replaced. Trenton Franklin Road had it's front lights replaced with WCH 12x24 Lights with Leotek LEDs. But I find it still interesting because I don't have many crossings with Leotek LEDs. Also the WRRS Mechanical Bell is still there.
The same goes to Beachler Rd, but it had it's lights replaced with WCH 12x24 Lights with WCH 2nd Generation LEDs. I find it still interesting as the MI bell still remains though. I also think that WCH 2nd Gen. LEDs are kind of interesting because I don't have too many crossings with those LEDs.
BTW, I have videos for both of these crossings, but I will see about uploading them later.

At least they left the 8 inch rear and side lights!
They/Them for me, please.

They do that with used lights around here all the time. If they take them down some where, like replacing a simple mast and 4 lights with a new gantry ect. They are not going to just trash the newer lights, they get put in the signal dept yard till they need them else where. They probably left the old 8" lights as they appear to face a private driveway, so no real need for fancy new LED lights there yet. Mike the Aspie
