New Regulars Wanted (but with a catch...)

Post by Smjh1979 » Fri Oct 16, 2009 6:07 pm

http://www.rxrsignals.net/newregulars.html

The last updates for the last 2 months with the exception of Texas has all been Eastern half states from the US. The 12 people from the Western half have been either inactive for at least 4 months to over 1 year (with a few not having even contacted me in 1 year or longer).

We really need more Western states added to the site, and I'm looking for more West people to send stuff in. Click the link above for more information.

I have some updated pictures of Castle Hot Springs, and Congress and i will be going up to Hillside this weekend, so i may also be able to get to Wickenburg. Not sure if this will help, but its what i have.

Well, there are no trains at Castle Hot Springs. Congress, Wickenburg, and Hillside are pretty well covered, so I won't ask for any of those.

Thanks for offering though.

Wait a minute.... I take that back....

On the way to Hillside, will you be going on County Route 62 through Date Creek? If so I'd like to see that crossing, and what's changed if any.

Will you be going out that way?

i was planning on taking 96 from Kirkland to Hillside, beacuse i have never been on 62, i know it is a dirt road, and from what i have heard on a site about the peavine, it is a bumpy road, is it rough?

Parts of it are. The last time I was out there was nearly 2 years ago (Veteran's Day 2007 to be exact), and some construction on the road resulted in a very bumpy 1/4 mile stretch of the road. Otherwise, from Hillside to the crossing isn't too bad. The last 6 or so miles may be somewhat bumpy at times though. There are lots of washes on that road, but with the lack of rain we've had, those won't be any problem.

i will consider, all we have is a Nissan Sentra so it might be bumpy.

A little longer way around, but a route to take...

I wish County Highway 62 was paved. That one needs it very badly.
