Gates

I think I like gated crossings better, because I think they are safer in a way.

I have to agree, gates are safer. On crossings with just signals only, it seems like as soon as people see the lights are on, they have to race through to beat the train. At least gates stop most people.

I really don't like gates too much, but that's just me. I prefer gateless crossings.

I know of all the dangers of not having gates, but it's just what I was born around. The LA Harbor area did have some gates, but not that many.

I stayed at more of the gateless ones more, because they were more interesting to me.

Can't say I care either. Just so long as it's something appropriate for the situation.
Well, :Censored:

I said gated, as I've never seen a gateless crossing (outside of an amusement park, that is).
