This is an unusual crossing in a good sort of way. These gateless 8" signals protect a pretty busy rail line, with speed limits up to 60 MPH!

Note how unusual the side lights are mounted in picture 2.

4

5

6

The main lights have WCH 8" incandescent lights on a MI bracket.

The side light bracket is from WRRS, the lights are also WCH 8" incandescent lights too.

Active shots of the signals.

The ONLY reason that TrainmanKight's dog is pictured, is because while he was waiting for this train to arrive, Rutherford County Sheriff dept. came by because of a call by an unknown "weirdo" calling in to police stating that "two suspicious people and a dog were standing by the tracks with cameras and thinking they were going to throw the dog in the path of the oncoming train, and filming it."

Pictures 22-28 were taken March 21, 2009.
