Overviews of the crossing. |
The first signal. Not entirely sure why there are two bells on this signal, or even which one works, but I suspect the one on the gate mast is the functional one. |
The second signal. This also has a pair of LED 12 inch McCain signals mounted to the cantilever arm, due to the neighboring signalized intersection. |
The third signal. This one is an almost-fully original 70s BN install. |
The relay case. |
Looking southeast towards 7th Street. |
Looking northwest towards Private Crossing #2 in Waller. |
A pair of wayside signals stand near the crossing. |
This conduit was sticking out of the ground around the crossing, which I suspect these signals are due for replacement soon. |
The crossing activates! |
A northbound Amtrak Cascades service flies through the crossing with a Talgo trainset being powered by a Siemens SC-44! |
The crossing deactivates. |
