If you've seen Dan's wigwag site before, you'll recognize this crossing instantly. These signals are VERY rare to find, not only because of the 8" GRS lights, or because the signals are US&S, but because of the very rare "STOP" lights underneath it.

The only thing wrong with this crossing is the lack of bells at a crossing that gets 113 trains per day. Just before the year 2004, the crossing only used to get 63 daily trains.

Note the cantilevers on picture 4. That's Jefferson St. and they operate independently from the gateless signals. Quite weird.

Click here-1, and here-2 for pictures of the crossing as found on Dan's Wigwag Site.

Here's a night time shot of the crossing in action. The "T" doesn't seem to light up too much unfortunately.

Here are a couple new shots of the crossing. It didn't take much to get this crossing in action.

The signal in picture 7 is the same one as seen in picture 6. The "T" looks a lot better than it did.

The STOP lights in pictures 8 and 9 don't look quite so good. Possibly bulbs at a lower wattage?

Picture 7 is a train that went into the Vancouver yard, and is the Western signal.

Pictures 8 and 9 are on the western signal, and is the same train that was sitting next to the 122nd St. crossing. Compare the locomotive numbers! The two trains were only 3 minutes apart!
