The GE Dotted LEDs are the evolution of the Harmon Dotted LEDs.  These were slow to take off, but they are popping up more and more these days on shortlines, and especially now Union Pacific.

GE refers to this LED as their "Pixelated look", as opposed to the fading LEDs that they call the "Uniform look."  Unlike the Fading LED, this only comes in a 12" model, no 8" version available.

There are 4 versions of this LED for sale.

• RG6-RTFB-01BV1-H7:       Red sidelight without gasket option
• RG6-RTFB-01BV1-GH7:    Red sidelight with gasket option
• RG6-RTFB-01BV3-H7:       White sidelight without gasket option
• RG6-RTFB-01BV3-GH7:    White sidelight with gasket option

Temperature ranges for this kind of LED ranges from -40°C to +70°C (-40°F to +158°F), and operate from 8 to 14 volts D.C. and A.C.
