This crossing is located on the NS Memphis District East End.

 

*When I wrote this page, I had guessed that this would be the milepost as here, as there wasn't an inventory report for the crossing yet. Turns out I was right!

The lights on the signals here now work, even though they can't be seen through the bags! The bells also ring, confirming that they're GS Type 3s. However, the gate mechanisms aren't hooked-up yet.

This crossing is current (as of the time of writing this in June of 2018) the newest one in Huntsville, having only been opened in the fall of 2017!

It was certainly fun getting to watch this crossing getting built from (near) start to finish.

Of course, less than three years later, the crossing was closed and then replacd with a new overpass, due to the construction of a new rail-yard at the crossing.
