Overviews of the former crossing. According to the FRA, this one was just guarded by crossbucks.
Looking southeast towards AL 208 in Cottonton.

The foundation and power supply for a relay case stand near this crossing. I'd thought these were for some signals here, but the FRA says that the crossing only had crossbucks originally...

Perhaps they were for a wayside signal here? Just southeast of here was the diamond with the former Central of Georgia (later Southern Railway, Norfolk Southern, and Pine Belt Southern) line through Hurtsboro.

The old SA&M Hurtsboro depot still stands next to this crossing! Underneath the depot the remains of an old wooden gate arm can also be found here.

Not sure where it would've come from, I would've thought Main Street but, according to the FRA, that only had gateless signals. Maybe it had come from the CofG line through Hurtsboro?
